8. Summary Dialogue Situation: It’s night. We’re at a party in New York. Susan is talking to Mary. Susan: Helen went to Boston last week. She directed a program there the night before last. She came to New York the next morning. Mary: I saw her during our program yesterday. She likes New York very much. She has many friends here. (Helen joins them.) Susan: Helen, are you going to be here for the next three weeks? Helen: No, I don’t think so. I’m going to go to Russia the week after next. Susan: What are you going to do during these two weeks? Helen: I’m going to visit my friends, listen to some lectures, and look at some art exhibits. Susan: You’re going to be very busy. Helen: I always am. 9.
