I’m going to look at some APARTMENTS day after tomorrow. Don: I looked at a BOARDING HOUSE, a room in a PRIVATE HOME, and a CO-OP day before yesterday. Joe: What’s a boarding house? Don: It’s like a restaurant. You only eat there. Joe: Where do you sleep? Don: In a room in a private home or ROOMING HOUSE. A rooming house is like a hotel but you only sleep there. Joe: How is a CO-OP different? Don: A CO-OP is like a dormitory; you eat and sleep there. It’s not very expensive because every person washes dishes and works. Exercise: 7.1.
