Exercise: A.2.2.3. Practice Modal- & GOING-future-AF Report quoted sentences. For example: Jeffry stated , “ I can stay here till tomorrow if John supplies me with all I need.” JEFFRY STATED HE COULD STAY THERE TILL THE NEXT DAY IF JOHN SUPPLIED HIM WITH ALL HE NEEDED.” They promised us , “ We are going to cover you as long as you’re crossing the bridge.” THEY PROMISED THAT THEY WERE GOING TO COVER US AS LONG AS WE WERE CROSSING THE BRIDGE. 1. Janney said, “I will give a lecture about new trends in fashion industry tomorrow.” 2. Peter said to me, “We can make you rich overnight if you are keen to follow our orders.” 3.
