Exercise: A.1.1. Practice SHOULD-Conditionals Create undesirable situations with If-SHOULD- Conditionals. For example: They will buy a new car if you lend them money. THEY WOULD BUY A NEW CAR IF YOU SHOULD LEND THEM MONEY. If you leave the company, you will make a great mistake . IF YOU SHOULD LEAVE THE COMPANY, YOU WOULD MAKE A GREAT MISTAKE . 1. It will be a cause for a new major war if they try to impose global hegemony. 2. I will give my blessing to her if she marries him. 3. If they buy a new house, his parents will help them. 4. The bank will support Peter if he invests into hydraulic fracturing. 5. The faculty will be disappointed if you terminate the course. 6.
