1. Phrasal Actions 1.1. GO OVER, etc. GO OVER means examine generally . LOOK OVER means examine visually . THINK OVER means examine mentally . TALK OVER means discuss . Situation: Margaret is talking with John about a new car. Margaret: I want to buy a new car next week, but I don’t know very much about cars. Will you come with me to LOOK them OVER? John: Yes, I’ll be glad to. Have you thought about what kind of car do you want? Margaret: Yes, I’ve THOUGHT it OVER and OVER again. It’s going to be an electric model.
