1. Review Dialogue Father: What did you do this morning, son? Son: First, I took my bicycle out of the garage, parked it in the driveway and washed it. Then I mowed the lawn and cut some flowers. Father: Did you make anything? Son: Yes, I did. I made another garden bench. Father: How many benches do we have now? Son: Two, but I'm going to make another one tomorrow. 2. Introductions Situation: Jerry meets his old friend Bill and introduces him to his family. Jerry: Bill, it’s good to see you. How have you been? Bill: Fine, Jerry. You are looking good. Jerry: Thanks, I never change. Do you have a few minutes? I’d like you to meet my family. Bill: Yes, of course. Jerry: This is my wife Kay, my son Billy, and my daughter Caroline. And, this is Bill Jones. Bill: I’m very pleased to meet you. (The children say, “Hello.”) Kay: We’re happy to meet you Bill. Jerry often talks about you. Bill: We were very close friends during our school days. Jerry: Here comes my cousin Joyce. I think you met her several years ago. Bill: Do you mean your skinny little cousin?
